Both our rabbit and our guinea pig hutches have an enclosed wooden paneled area with a door that is necessary so that the rabbit or guinea can seek privacy to sleep and shelter from weather conditions. Most of our products have a run which encourages the animals to come out and play and socialize with the family. If your pet is kept outside, the run will serve also as a feeding ground. Both Rabbits and Guinea pigs very much enjoy eating fresh vegetables and grass and dandelions are part of their diet.
If the pets are to be housed outside for some part of the year it is important that any rabbit/guinea pig hutch is weatherproof and wind proof. Our rabbit hutches have a sloping waterproof roof in order to prevent the wood soaking up water and becoming damp and cold in periods of bad weather. The wood used in the construction of our rabbit hutches is sourced from renewable stock and has been used to provide adequate frost and summer ventilation.
